The Chill-Pak Energy Cell

In any remote system, the glycol unit provides the necessary chilling power, the Chill-Pak Energy Cell is the heart of our system. Mounted in or near the walk-in cooler, the beer and glycol lines are molded into the energy cell. This assures assures a constant supply of beer at a consistent temperature, acting as a heat exchanger.

The Chill-Pak Energy Cell actually acts as a flash-chiller. The recirculating glycol actually stores the coldness in the aluminum cold plate, dramatically reducing the amount of work that the glycol chiller has to perform. It also stabilizes the entire system, assuring a constant temperature.

Manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum, insulated and sealed for life, there are no moving parts to wear out.

Available in two different styles: Our Standard Chill-Pak Energy Cell will handle 4, 5, or 6 products. Beer and Glycol In lines and Out lines are on the same end of the reservoir, permitting mounting in tighter spaces. Our High-Volume Chill-Pak Energy Cell can handle 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 products. Beer and Glycol lines go in one end, and out the other.
