Cold Draft Arms

Most draft arms made are really nothing more than a stainless steel tube with faucets and plastic beer lines attached. While inexpensive to make, they provide a "hot-spot" in the delivery system where beer can warm and turn to foam. At Chill-Pak, we recognized this problem, and created a perfect solution in our draft arms: a Cold Draft Arm.

The reason our Cold Draft Arms are superior is shown in the cutaway view shown below. Notice that the beer lines, manufactured from stainless steel, are literally molded into a solid block of aluminum cast from 99.7% purity aluminum. The glycol chilling lines are also molded in this block of aluminum, creating a cold block, which keeps the beer cold right up to the faucet.

To prevent loss of cooling effectiveness, the entire cold block is insulated. Therefore, none of the outside heat is transferred to the cold block itself.

This design means that the first drink served from the tap will be just as cold as the last. No hot spots, no pour-off, and no waste.

The draft arms and towers are both manufactured to be self-restricting for ease of installation.
